Ghost immobiliser connects to the vehicle communications network and digitally or on very few cars analogue blocks communication between vehicle control units in a way that it can prevent the engine from starting, gear engaging, or engine cutting when the vehicle setting is in motion. The Immobiliser activates automatically within 3-30 seconds after the ignition is turned off and it gets deactivated by entering the disarming code when the ignition is turned on. No added buttons are installed on the vehicle and buttons used to create disarming code are vehicle buttons located on the driver's door, steering wheel, or center console. Buttons that can be used are different from one vehicle manufacturer and model to another and the code created has to be between 4 and 20 presses.
